Thanks to the help of Tim Mielke, we were able to get the Outdoor Classroom in Terril to substantial completion! I had the roof to get completed and we accomplished that today. Here are some pictures of the deck and roof. The deck got completed on the day before Thanksgiving break (and before the snow). In the spring we will begin to move some soil and shape the old football field into a rolling prairie. Stay tuned for more to come!

"I am more comfortable getting to know and share ideas with new people without fear of judgement. This has even helped me in the classroom be more willing to put forth an answer that I am not sure is correct because, even if its not, I know it will help the learning process." -Lauren Josephson (when asked how NoBo has changed her as a leaner)

7th graders have been working on how to properly debate different topics. Today's topic was Ho Ho's vs. Swiss Cake Rolls. Students collected evidence based on the five senses and participated in a debate. Swiss Cake Rolls was the clear winner!

The Drone Delivery team demonstrated their ability to pivot by presenting partner Barry Bonner with ground-based drone options. There are no clear FAA regulations regarding aerial drones yet, so this was the best option for delivering food and beverages at the Hillcrest.
