Anatomy & Physiology students refined their skeletal system terminology by examining and identifying structures on cattle leg bones! 🦴




This year our foods classes are using Samin Nosrat's book SALT FAT ACID HEAT to deepen our learning. Today we experimented with FAT and HEAT to create a perfect grilled cheese sandwich.

Students bowled for friends of ten to build fact fluency! Then they recorded their results and added up their scores.

Graettinger-Terril Class of 2026 become part of history. A field trip in May 2019 started a journey of discovery, hard-work, patience, and perseverance and ended with an event to remember those buried in a mass grave 126 yrs ago.

Attention Youth Wrestlers! There will be a free wrestling camp Monday, November 2nd and Thursday, November 5th. K-2nd grade is from 6-7pm and 3rd to 8th grade is from 7-8pm. You may bring your Titan Youth Wrestling registrations those nights as well.

6th graders wrote narrative stories about inanimate objects that come to life. They focused on including dialogue and exciting action verbs. Preschoolers enjoyed listening to their 6th grader and interacted with the objects from the story.

Unified Science students are practicing the concepts of velocity and acceleration. Seen are students timing group members during a race to determine the point their runner achieves maximum velocity. The groups will then make distance vs. time and velocity vs. time graphs!

It's debate season! 8th graders were paired up to research a debate topic of their choice. Each student chose a different side and wrote an argumentative essay that included evidence that supported both sides of the topic. Speeches were then presented to the class.

One of the advantages of passion-driven, contextual learning is it fosters the development of more self-directed learners. These two students have really stepped up and embraced the challenges of operating in the unfamiliar world of adult businesses and community groups.
